AWARDS, SUCCESSES and RECOGNITION

The Colorado Springs Conservatory has developed a strong track record with many extraordinary and successful programs that promote accountability, community involvement and excellence.

100% of CSC student’s assessments displayed consistent growth in the following areas: individual studies; self-esteem and self-expression; respect of self and others; communication skills; effective listening; motivation and eagerness to learn from peers and faculty

100% of the 11th & 12th grade students studying at the Colorado Springs Conservatory surveyed showed: positive peer choices; no involvement in at-risk behaviors; raised and maintained grade point averages; heightened community awareness and increased involvement in community activities; students who had not considered collegiate studies are now intending to pursue the collegiate path.

Today, over 16 years after the organization's inception, 100% of students studying at the CSC have graduated from high school. Over 90% of graduating seniors garner acceptance and substantial scholarships to some of the nation's most prestigious universities, colleges, and conservatories. CSC alumni utilize the inherent discipline of their studies to embark in careers that include medicine, engineering, law, history, literature, and education. The CSC celebrates numerous alumni that have gone on to professional arts experiences with national touring companies and such highly regarded treasures as the New York City Opera and Broadway. CSC alumni say that above and beyond the excellent training they receive at the Conservatory, they also attain life skills such as responsibility, respect, community building, acceptance, and ownership; all essential tools for life-long success in any field.

This event introduces many outstanding organizations to the Selection Commission and helps facilitate conversation and cooperation among community nonprofits.
